Cut different than Signature line

October 20, 2024I prefer the higher quality Signature Iron-Free line of pants, but I wanted two different shades of brown that weren't available in that line so I ordered these too. Big mistake.
1. Received one in grey instead of brown. If I was going to order grey I'd have ordered another of the better ones. Coffee bean looks darker and less saturated in person, so maybe the grey I received is technically correct.
2. These are cut and constructed from a different pattern. The other line of pants fit, but these are too tight in the seat and the crotch despite being the same size and fit. Both are classic fit, pleated.
The trend now is to blend elastane into the fabric, not to make them fit slightly better, but to make them wear out faster (there's polyester now too). When they made the switch they also altered the patterns... now they fit worse.
Thanks.
Completely inaccurate fit, okay quality.

June 18, 2024Fit / sizing is not at all accurate. I wear a 32 x 32 in men's slacks, so I figured that's the size I should order these, but their measurements are off by at least an inch because I couldn't even button them! It was no more than a 31 inch waist, but could have even been a 30in.
Even not being able to button them, I could still see that the fit was nowhere near what it would look like in the picture/what it should be. The leg opening was too narrow, and compared to a pair 32 x 32 slacks, the leg opening was maybe a third of an inch narrower. There should be a single break in the pants, not make me look like I'm going to warn people of an impending flood.
The fabric felt nice, but these seem to be way more casual and not suitable for office attire. I don't know that I really care to order a different size because I can't trust their sizing at all.
These are not the Dockers you remember

November 27, 2023I purchased several of these pants when they were on sale and have worn them for about six months. The "feature" that stands out immediately is how thin the material is. In comparison to older, 100% cotton Dockers (or even the Signature Dockers), the Easy Stretch material feels like it is only half the thickness of original Dockers.
They do fit well with the stretch waistband and less circumference in the thigh - for a more modern look.
However, after six months of use, I would not re-purchase. The "high friction" area started pilling within a month. I have one pair that is so thin there that I ought to pull them out of business use so I don't have a potential embarrassing moment when they eventually rip there.
These are not the Dockers you remember. They are today's fast fashion iteration, made with materials that barely work. I estimate that these pants will last about 6-12 months, whereas previous iterations of Dockers would typically last 3-5 years.

February 10, 2024I’m really hard to please when it comes to pants. These pants are very comfortable and feel really nice. Unless you try them you will not believe how comfortable and have nice they are while wearing them. The price was good JC Penney had a great sale on them. I wouldn’t sure at the time but when I wore these pants out. I purchased more the next week that’s how hard I am to please. My wife even told me as hard as you are to please when purchasing pants you had better go ahead and buy some more and I did.
