I am so disappointed. I had this vest in the xs/m size. I weigh between 140-150lbs. It fit perfectly but after taking a spill and a long float the vest did not give me the necessary flotation. It was a very unpleasant experience. So! I ordered the l/xl. It is huge on my. I cannot adjust the straps to fit. They just don’t cinch small enough. It bizarre that the sizing is like this. Returning.

Bought this for my wife. Agonized some over which size to get. Her measurements indicated S/M, but the size guidance specifically says 88-132 pounds and she's more like 140. Figured, most PFDs you can crank down pretty small, and I didn't want to skimp on floatation - most adult PFDs have the same floatation for all the adult sizes, but this one has less floatation in the smaller size. Turns out, nope, measurements are the way to go. The L/XL was massively too large especially around the bust and shoulders, even fully cranked down. Its a bit odd that a normally proportioned, athletic woman - 5' 7", 140 lbs - is too large by weight for the s/m but too small for the next size up, also odd that this model skimps on the floatation in the smaller size while most others do not. Too bad, its otherwise a really attractive and practical design.

This is a very nice life jacket. I bought one jacket to try before buying the second for my daughter. I will be buying the second jacket after we both tried the jacket. I am tall and long waisted but not particularly well endowed while my daughter is short with short torso and is well endowed. The xs/m fit us both perfectly owing to the 6 adjustment points. Two very small critiques are that the pockets are not quite as generously sized as the adver would make it seem and the placement of the knife clip would be better on the opposite side of the jacket. Most people are right handed and it is more natural to reach your right hand up to the left chest rather than the right chest. That being said neither of these were deal breakers and the jackets allowed for good movement for paddling our kayaks.

In the store, this one felt like it fit the most snug and like it would not rise up awkwardly when I was in the water. I also like the color and design.
I got to test it out today in Arizona on the Salt River and I really like it so far! Very comfortable. I like how it has two zippers too, though I haven't used them yet.
For help with fit - I got the Adult SX/M and I am 5'7", 132lb, bra size 32 b/c
