Nice idea but poor quality. Buy a fabric shaver.

September 1, 2024The good first of all, as I own three pairs of these for work use.
They are super lightweight and thin, as well as water repellant. They were nice to have when working during hot weather work (80F-90F). Utility pocket is useful, and nice to have, and the third pocket fits/protects a large phone well.
Unfortunately the bad part is they are very poor quality. Knowing they would likely have special wash requirements I made sure to read the tag and follow the unique directions: cold wash inside out, like colors only, non bleach. Hang dry, etc.
However despite this, the fabric immediately started growing hairs and popping out necessitating the use of a fabric shaver. I have to shave these pants more than I trim my beard or they start to look like a shag carpet.
They've also grown in size somehow, becoming more of a looser fit. This can be good or bad depending on your situation.
If you have rough and callused hands from work they will catch onto the cloth and pull it.
If you have anything velcro, the hook side will catch onto the pants and pull fibers causing you to need to shave the cloth again.
If you touch anything rubber or black plastic with the tan/brown pants (like the rubber of a car trunk, or black of a truck bedliner for example) it will immediately stain the pants, seemingly permanently.
The result is if these are the only pants you can have for a few workdays they'll be okay, but they definitely won't last an entire summer unless you're willing to handwash these.
Fortunately the only other folks who see these are the kind that don't care about being neat or clean, but it's still way more maintenance than I prefer for clothes.

December 13, 2024These are some of my favorites I have about 6-7 pairs in different colors, and have owned at least dozen or so pairs over the last 10-15 years. I wear them all the time, probably at least 5 days a week. They are durable enough for work and I like them for casual wear too. I tend to be warm in most situations so I like the lighter weight fabric to stay cooler than denim or duck materials.
My one and only knock is they tend to work down my waist and have to pull them up a lot if I'm bending over doing something. I used to get the older Wranlger Outdoors that I felt like were better fitted to me, but these fit the bill almost as well. I'm 6 ft 285 and the cut fells just a bit more relaxed on these than the older version and I think since these have plenty of flex I prefer the more fitted cut. I have tried to find the ATG in a similar cut but I don't find t available. The wash up pretty well short of paint ore a really heavy staining substance the material cleans up well. I've gotten them pretty dirty on the farm and working on cars or equipment and usually they wash up god as new. All in all I'd recommend them to almost anyone as a great value and pretty decent fit.
Please offer longer inseam lengths

January 4, 2025Why is the longest inseam offered only 34 for the ATG pants? I'm a tall guy who wears 38 inch inseam, I've worn only wranglers my entire life because it's so easy to find pants my inseam length. I was super disappointed to see that the ATG's only go up to 34?? I've got buddies who hunt and use these for hiking and really like them but I simply can't find out for myself. I would really like to continue only buying wranglers. Ariat makes and soft shell pant with a 38 inseam that i have to buy simply because they are the only ones who offer it, why can't wrangler?? I would gladly not buy from ariat!
All us tall long legged guys would sure appreciate it.

April 26, 2024I love these Wrangler pants. They're lighter than jeans but also aren't that cheap windbreaker synthetic material that swishes when you walk. I have multiple pairs now but I have had 2 pairs for many years now, I worked concrete in them in the humid heat of a Minnesota summer and they kept me nice and cool and I also took those 2 pairs to Alaska where I am a guide and won't have anything else. They dry incredibly fast when I get splashed by a rogue wave or I don't have my bibs on.
The only negatives I have about these pants are that I have to get them professionally hemmed since I am exceptionally short, and I do have a hole in one of the original 2's pant legs but that was from dropping a cinderblock on my leg which resulted in blood either way, I would never expect pants like this to not tear from an impact like that.
