If the rest of the garment was as good as the denim this would be a solid 5 stars how ever, quality control seems non existent here.

I work on 1920s steam locomotives and am always in the public eye. I want to look good while doing my job and I have always worn Key Bibs, simply due to the fact they are easy to get in my area. Frustrated with their quality I tried Roundhouse not satisfied I tried Dickies. I wear a standard 36X34 size in both those, following the Dickies sizing directions i ordered that size. When the first two pairs arrived, they were a solid 3 inches too long. I thought, well no big deal I’ll have them hemmed up and remember that on the next order. Next I ordered 36X32s thinking they would be shorter? Nope. They were not, at least by much. I thought waging they would shrink, and nope they didn’t.

The last two pair on the first washing also had all the side buttons come out. So now it’s off to the tailor to have that fixed as well as hemmed. With the price tag on these bibs I have to wonder if they are worth it when calculating in the cost of hemming them up every time and having to replace buttons before they are even worn.

With that I have ordered an even shorter pair now to see if that works, if not I will probably just go back to saving money on Keys.

Have bought indigo bib overralls for over 24 yrs and they were always good in every way. My last order of 3 pair are lighter colored, show dirt easier. I washed before wearing and they were faded very badly coming out of the washer. They also filled the dryer lint filter almost completely. Do not breath or absorb sweat causing heat to build up. It seems they are a blend and not 100% cotton. They are not the same material, softer before washing, which is nice. But probably wont buy them again.

My husband loves wearing overalls. I have bought him a few brands over the years, but Dickies are his favorite. I get him the dark, unwashed hard as cardboard ones. The quality of the denim is excellent. I wash them twice and he is good to go. He just found the watch/key pocket.. not sure how he missed it before :) I usually get 4-5 at a time, this time I ordered them a little longer, it seems like over time they tend to shrink up a bit. Great quality.

I am so disappointed how most all bib overalls these days don't even have a pencil/pen slot. Dickies does! I also am very pleased with the shoulder strap fasteners that snap over the bib button to hold them up. These click with a positive grip that won't come undone in daily body motions/movements like several other "tongue-through-slot" fastener designs do.

Also, the positioning of the snap buttons on the bib are placed high on the very top-most, upper edge of the bib front so there is no unsupported fabric to fold over against your chest behind the button fasteners; everything stands up without flopping over.

Also, if you carry a railroad pocket watch, there are accommodations for that, as well. (-:
