Very comfortable
Jewel· Review provided by blair.com · January 30, 2024
I have worn Skechers as my main shoe for the last 10+ years. This was my first time trying a slip-in style versus lace-up. I have flat feet and the tongue of the shoe sits just a bit high. I compensated for this by making a small knot in the stretchy band (toward the toe end of the shoe) to make the shoe a bit tighter. I do wish these shoes came with a toggle on the stretchy lacing as that would allow you to adjust the tightness as needed. I specifically look for Skechers that have the "air-cooled memory foam" rather than the squishy memory foam. The air-cooled memory foam is comfortable and lasts longer, and does not develop indentations (from your toes) that become uncomfortable with time (which happens with the cheaper standard memory foam). I love the color and style of the "Skechers slip-ins summits". Lots of nice cushioning in the heel area. I would recommend buying these if you need a supportive, but yet comfortable shoe.
Sketchers Wms. Slip-ins

I purchased these slips-ins to replace a similar pair I had purchased two years ago. The slip in feature is genius. The left shoe in this pair was great from the start, but the right shoe had to adjust to my foot. In the meantime, I had a large blister on my heel, and two small ones along the inner side of my big toe. The sole is somewhat harder than the last pair, a good thing as they do not catch as many stones from gravel walkways. I must admit I used my last pair frequently for dog walks. The molded bottom piece eventually ends up splitting from the fabric, which is why I finally retired my last pair. Rounded front also gives more room for toes.

These are cute, comfy, and I generally love them. However, after less than a week of ownership which only included wearing them a handful of times and in no inclement weather, the color on the toes is fading. I thought maybe it was just me thinking it but I went to the store to grab something else and compared it to the display shoe. Definitely different. I asked how I can preserve the color but was offered a cleaner… which the shoes aren’t dirty. Normally I wouldn’t care at all but given the vibrant nature of the color fading makes them look less lovely and defeats the reason I bought in the first place. Hoping they stop fading. But elsewise love these shoes
A Request

I'm not actually writing a review of this shoe, but if I could wear it I'm sure I would love it. I'm here to make a request. In the past, I've been an enthusiastic Skechers customer, and was grateful for the number of styles that came in wide widths. Unfortunately for me, due to my severe rheumatoid arthritis, I've had to go to a double wide width. This really disappointed me, as I could no longer wear your shoes. So I'm here to ask: have you ever considered adding one or two styles in double wide widths? I understand it is a small market, but if you could make one or two styles, such as the go walk and slip ins, I think you will find a market for them on QVC. Thank you for letting me comment, and I would be grateful for a reply one way or the other.
