Whether recruiting the next great Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.
At Google, data drives all of our decision-making. Quantitative Analysts work all across the organization to help shape Google's business and technical strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting huge data sets. Using analytical rigor and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for Google and our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing advertising efficacy to network infrastructure optimization to studying user behavior. As an analyst, you do more than just crunch the numbers. You work with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales Associates and Marketing teams to adjust Google's practices according to your findings. Identifying the problem is only half the job; you also figure out the solution.
As a Quantitative Compensation Specialist, you will develop technical tools and applications to help scale compensation practices at Google. In addition you will get programmatic experience with Google’s global pay programs. You are a quantitatively-minded individuals with an interest in the intersection between finance, computer science, data modeling, and business strategy. You must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, create innovative tools, posses the maturity to handle sensitive information and make sound decisions with a strong desire to manage details and deliver results. Historical projects include: online modelling tools rolled out to all managers at Google, Monte Carlo simulations of Google's stock movements, and internal web-apps used to help scale the compensation team's practices.
